CNN’s Jim Acosta was victorious in his legal battle with the White House today, and both Sarah Sanders and President Donald Trump reacted by talking about the need for decorum in the White House. And Nicolle Wallace couldn’t help but be amused by that.
After reading Sanders’ statement calling for decorum at the White House, Wallace and her panelists couldn’t help but laugh.
“If you’re looking for one word to describe the Trump White House,” John Heilemann dryly said, “that would be it.”
Wallace proceeded to show clips from the press conference where Trump clashes with Acosta, showing some of the President’s more combative and insulting moments towards reporters in the room.
“Did someone say something about decorum?” she amusedly responded.
Al Sharpton agreed that it’s clearly absurd on its face.
