Don Jr. Rips NPR After Report Corrected: ‘Sloppy Attempt to Smear’

Donald Trump Jr. went on a tear against NPR Friday night after its report on his testimony to Senate investigators was corrected with an editor’s note.

After online criticism that its report on his testimony contrasting what Michael Cohen said this week was inaccurate, NPR updated the report and acknowledged that the earlier version “mischaracterized” his comments, which were about a different planned Moscow deal than the one Cohen talked about.

The President’s son called it a “sloppy attempt to smear” in a series of tweets also calling out the media in general:

I guess this is as close as I’ll get to an apology where yet another “bombshell” bites the dust.
