Michael Moore spoke with MSNBC’s Chris Hayes tonight about the year ahead and, when asked what he’s looking forward to in 2019, immediately said, “As many members of the Trump family in orange jumpsuits as possible.”
“It’s really the wrong way to end such a festive time of the year with such animosity toward those who would do wrong to this country, but yes,” he added.
Moore told Hayes that Trump “got away with everything” for decades and that, his personal hopes aside, “that streak shouldn’t end this year,” because “Trump has always been careful to be not in the room when the crime is being committed.”
The filmmaker also said that people in the media should resolve not to let Trump “control the conversation” so much.
