He’s back, baby. In both ways Tiger Woods blew away the crowds, and Twitter, on Sunday at the Open Championship with the incredible bunker shot shown above and an overall “spectacular” day up to that moment.

Tiger took the solo lead and showed fantastic play, a reminder of why Tiger became Tiger. After ending up in a bunker on 10th he was facing a spot of bother. Or so it seemed.

Instead, though, Tiger pulled off the terrific shot onto the green, wowing audiences and eliciting a huge Twitter reaction, the theme of which was that Tiger is back. There was excitement.
