During Wednesday’s White House listening session on mass shootings, President Donald Trump said that he plans to “strongly” consider the idea of arming teachers.
“If you had a teacher who was adept at firearms, they could very well end the attack very quickly,” Trump said. “And the good thing about a suggestion like that — and we’re going to be looking at it very strongly, and I think a lot of people are going to be opposed to it. I think a lot of people are going to like it. But the good thing is you’re going to have a lot of [armed] people with that.”
After his comments, Twitter unearthed a 2016 Tweet in which the then-candidate said he was opposed to the idea.
Crooked Hillary said that I want guns brought into the school classroom. Wrong!

Proof, once again, that there really is a Trump Tweet for everything.
