Here’s a sentence you don’t hear every day.
Vox’s Liz Plank said to MSNBC’s Ari Melber on The Beat that adult film star Stormy Daniels is beating President Donald Trump at his own game.
“I can’t believe this is coming out of my mouth, but I think the first person to have outplayed Donald Trump is a porn star,” she said. “At the same time, I believe what’s coming out of my mouth because nothing is shocking anymore.”
Plank went on to discuss Daniels’ appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live and her coy refusal to say she has a non-disclosure agreement on her alleged affair with Trump.
“I think that a lot of people are underestimating how smart she is,” she said. “Basically by not saying she doesn’t have an NDA is admitting that she probably does have an NDA, and it puts Donald Trump in this bind… that if he goes off and sues her for violating the terms of this NDA, he’s basically admitting that it exists.”
“She might be the loudest person with an NDA in recent public history,” Melber quipped.
According to multiple reports, Trump lawyer Michael Cohen set up a private company to pay Daniels $130,000 for her silence during Trump’s presidential campaign.
