Erick Erickson Gets Dragged For Claiming Losing Presidential Candidates Have All ‘Disappeared’

Former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton is once again getting under conservatives’ skin for pushing back on the notion she needs to go away.

At a recent Rutgers event, Clinton claimed that criticism that she needs to fade into the background after losing the 2016 presidential election is sexist, saying that they’d never say that to a man who lost. She went on to highlight the fact that 2012 GOP nominee Mitt Romney is currently running for the Senate, while past losing candidates either returned to the Senate or engaged in activism.

Apparently, conservative commentator Erick Erickson didn’t hear the part about past nominees, and decided to take a swipe at the former First Lady by claiming that other candidates had “disappeared.”

Hillary Clinton is the perfect loser for a selfish generation. In the past, the losing Presidential candidate disappeared from the stage. Not Clinton. It's all about her and you're sexist if you disagree.

As you can see in that tweet above, the ratio reveals that Erickson got just a tad bit of pushback over his assertion. Below is a sampling of the type of dragging Erickson received:
