Two Trumps taunted CNN’s Jim Acosta a bit tonight after he was heckled by the president’s supporters in Tampa today.
To recap: while reporting from the rally venue, Acosta faced a lot of shouting and heckling and booing from Trump supporters, with people chanting “CNN sucks” among other things. Acosta spoke to them at one point and apparently took some of their questions, but he’s worried about what the rising hostility against the press could lead to.
Eric Trump took to Twitter to post a message supporting the people heckling Acosta:
#Truth @Acosta https://t.co/aCfFoeqL1f

And it didn’t take too long until President Donald Trump himself retweeted it:
Acosta himself fired back at the President’s son:
No Eric. Not the truth. And you know better. https://t.co/f01GWOE70t

One of the surprising things I heard tonight in Tampa is Trump supporters saying I should be on their team. Anybody remember when we were all on the same team? I do.
