For the second night in a row, Fox News’ Sean Hannity defended Stormy Daniel lawyer Michael Avenatti’s right to due process after his arrest for alleged domestic violence but then slammed him for his role in the Kavanaugh accusations.
Last night, Hannity said that Avenatti deserved due process but then brought up Avenatti’s part in making claims against Kavanaugh.
Then tonight, Hannity noted that things had come “full circle” for the Kavanaugh accuser who he said tried to destroy the judge’s life.
“Remember it was he that pushed a phony claim from a client named Julie Swetnick,” Hannity said. “Remember they came out with that affidavit.”
He added: “No evidence was ever presented. Swetnick later backtracked during an interview with NBC…It is clear that Avenatti, he wanted to derail Judge Kavanaugh’s life over these absurd claims. He should have gotten the full story and how does his own client contradict what he said in an affidavit, He didn’t give a rip about due process, presumption of innocence. Now, this issue has come full circle for him.”
Earlier today, Avenatti once again denied the charges against him.
