Lou Dobbs Bashes CNN’s Legal Victory Over White House: ‘Outrageously Puerile’ Ruling

Fox Business host Lou Dobbs railed against the ruling in Federal court Friday in which Judge Timothy J. Kelly ordered the restoration of White House access for CNN’s Jim Acosta.

Posting to Twitter on Friday, the Fox Business anchor dismissed Kelly’s decree in the case as “outrageously puerile,” and proceeded to take a shot at Acosta personally.

“Outrageously puerile reasoning and ruling,” Dobbs wrote. Our district courts are filled with farcical excuses for judges.”

Dobbs went on to criticize Kelly’s legal reasoning.

“Judge Kelly’s absurd ruling cites a 1977 precedent that doesn’t relate to disruptive conduct in briefings or the WH itself,” Dobbs wrote. “Kelly’s precedent goes to political motives, or unspoken motives, or partisan differences for denial of credentials. Not relevant to this case. #MAGA”

Dobbs, of course, is straying quite a bit from the company line on this one. Fox News president Jay Wallace, in a statement Wednesday, announced the network was standing behind CNN.

“Secret Service passes for working White House journalists should never be weaponized,” Wallace said.
