Trump Likes Tweet on Sexual Misconduct Allegations Made Against ‘Great Friend’ Steve Wynn

President Donald Trump is a prolific Twitterer, but he rarely presses the “like” button. Yet on Friday night, Trump liked a curious post: a tweet of the Wall Street Journal’s report on the dozens of sexual misconduct allegations leveled against Las Vegas mogul and RNC finance chair Steve Wynn.

Trump’s liking of the report is bizarre considering his close relationship with the famed famed Vegas hotel and casino mogul. Trump called Wynn a “great friend” in 2016, and the mogul is the finance chairman of the Republican National Committee.

Per The Hill, Wynn was also scheduled to host the president’s inauguration anniversary bash with RNC Chair Ronna Romney McDaniel in January 2018.

The like — one out of only 25 the president has on his profile — was flagged by Twitter account Trump Alerts, which tracks the social media activity of the Trump family.

The WSJ reported on Friday that Wynn is facing dozens of accusations that he displayed a pattern of sexual misconduct over the years, which included forcing employees to “perform sex acts.”

Wynn reportedly regularly had manicures done in his office, and when he opened his flagship Wynn Las Vegas building in 2005, one manicurist who tearfully told colleagues that he forced her to have sex with him. Wynn reportedly paid off the manicurist a $7.5 million settlement following the incident.

Why Trump liked the tweet of the WSJ report is unclear, but will likely be blamed on Dan Scavino.
