There have been a bunch of nasty and baseless conspiracy theories going around concerning the student survivors of the Parkland school shooting. This afternoon, Senator Marco Rubio publicly called out anyone who would indulge in this nonsense.
Earlier this afternoon, an aide to a Florida state representative went ahead and emailed a reporter with his conspiracy-mongering about how two student survivors were supposedly crisis actors.
Rubio, who most likely saw that going around Twitter, tweeted this:
Claiming some of the students on tv after #Parkland are actors is the work of a disgusting group of idiots with no sense of decency

This conspiracy was not the only one being pushed today. A conspiracy-mongering post yesterday against one of the students that was liked on Twitter by Donald Trump Jr.––twice.
