Former White House official and Apprentice star Omarosa Manigault appeared on The Late Show on Wednesday night, but the juiciest parts of the interview didn’t make it on-air.
In the full uncut interview (which can be seen here), Stephen Colbert mentioned the newly-announced resignation of White House Communications Director Hope Hicks, who Omarosa was close with on the campaign trail as well as in the White House.
On Tuesday, it was reported that Hicks told the House Intelligence Committee that she had told “white lies” on behalf of President Trump, something he reportedly “berated” her for.
“You worked for her- do you know what the lies were?” Colbert asked.
Omarosa broke into loud laughter.
“I would suspect the first big one might be about crowd size,” Omarosa responded, “but I don’t really want to go into it.”
“Oh no, please. Let’s go into it!” Colbert exclaimed. “You’ve got to give the people -the people want to know! You worked in the Office of Communications, let’s communicate how big the crowd was.”
She told Colbert that she had been to “a lot” of inaugurations and that she didn’t want to be the one to “break it” to the president that he didn’t have the biggest crowd.
“Who has to break things to Donald Trump that he doesn’t want to hear? And do they wear a cup?” Colbert followed up.
“Well at the time, it was Reince Priebus and then [Sean] Spicer,” Omarosa said, “but again, both of them are no longer there.”
“You gonna go live with them?” Colbert joked.
Omarosa was also asked about the Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner‘s downgraded security clearance from “top secret” to “secret,” which was what she had when she worked in the White House. She called the whole situation “fascinating” and “complicated.”
