Dershowitz Confronts Creepy Porn Lawyer
So read the chyron on Tucker Carlson Tonight Monday — as Alan Dershowitz stopped by the Fox News program one day after battling with equally publicity-thirsty barrister Michael Avenatti on ABC.
Dershowitz followed up that confrontation by calling out Avenatti over an old prediction which has yet to come true.
“His major prediction in May was that President [Donald] Trump would resign,” Dershowitz said. “We’re waiting to hear and see that happen.”
The Harvard professor emeritus then accused Avenatti — the attorney for Stormy Daniels — of operating in his own best interests.
“I’m not going to make self-fulfilling prophecies the way Avenatti and others on the extreme side of this are making self-fulfilling prophecies,” he said.
Dershowitz added: “He said, I guarantee you — guarantee you — that President Trump will resign…It’s total nonsense.”
Dershowitz called for Carlson to confront Avenatti on his show.
“We’ve invited him many times,” Carlson said. “So far, this is the only show he won’t do.”
Dershowitz then issued the official challenge for a rematch.
“Have him come on with me,” he said.
