Dana Perino Calls Gator-Wielding Florida Man an ‘Asshole’ Live on The Five

Fox News host Dana Perino broke cable news etiquette by calling a gator-wielding Florida man an “asshole” while live on the air.

“Oh my gosh,” Perino exclaimed after seeing footage of the Florida man chasing around customers at a conviencence store while holding the reptile with its jaw taped shut. “What an asshole!”

Her co-hosts were a little surprised, to put it mildly.

“He’s terrorizing people,” Perino said. “No honestly, that is bad, and I’m sorry I just said that, but I mean.”

Perino did apologize to her mom for cussing on air, issuing the following tweet this afternoon:

Fox News contributor Katie Pavlich went on to say that she’s “never heard Dana say that before.”

As for Robby Stratton — the gator-wielding man in question — the Fox News hosts went on to report he was “blackout drunk at the time” of the incident. Local news outlets reported that authorities are investigating the matter.
