Monday Night Football heads to the Mile High city for Week 4 — and an AFC West showdown between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Denver Broncos.
Kansas City’s second-year sensation quarterback Patrick Mahomes makes his national television debut on Monday night. He has been nothing short of a revelation in his first three games as the Chiefs starter — throwing for nearly 900 yards and 13 touchdowns (with zero interceptions), while leading Kansas City to a 3-0 start. A primetime win over a division rival would help prove that the signal caller’s scorching start is no fluke.
Denver has been nowhere near as impressive as Kansas City. But they are 2-1, having scratched out wins against Oakland and Seattle. Their defense will be tested in a big way on Monday night. But the Mile High crowd should help. And if they can slow the vaunted Chiefs offense, they can join them atop the division at 3-1 a quarter of the way through the season.
Kickoff for is set for 8:15 p.m. ET. Joe Tessitore, Jason Witten, and Booger McFarland will have the call. You can catch the action live on ESPN, or stream it online free with a cable subscription via WatchESPN on your pc, phone, or tablet. WatchESPN can be downloaded from Apple’s iTunes Store, and the Google Play Store.
