Had a hell of a night in Fort Myers. This man apologized for giving me the finger at a rally earlier this year in Tampa. Really. We had a moment. pic.twitter.com/Kfm0J0TbsC

CNN’s Jim Acosta had what he called a “moment” after the Trump rally in Florida on Wednesday night.
A man who flipped him off came up and apologized.
The man, sporting a Santa style beard and wearing a red Make America Great Again hat came up to the CNN reporter and had something to say.
“I just wanted to apologize for flipping you off in Tampa,” the man — who was standing next to a woman in a white USA hat — said, referring to another Trump rally earlier this year.
He continued on: “I got carried away. I was asking for facts and not opinions…I did get carried away so I just wanted to apologize.”
Acosta then thanked the man “very much” for his apology and said he hopes to see him again.
The Trump fan’s apology comes on the same night as the president railed against the media for stoking discord in the wake of the Pittsburgh synagogue shooting.
