After John Kelly‘s very candid interview with the Los Angeles Times dropped Sunday, the New York Times reported on a fresh piece of friction unveiled between the outgoing chief of staff and the president.
Kelly, who will resign from the White House in the new year, has reportedly clashed with President Donald Trump since he started the job last year.
According to New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman, Kelly would often tell aides he the “worst job in the world.”
He also held alarming reservations about the president, per the Times: Kelly “frequently told people that Mr. Trump was not up to role of president, according to two former administration officials.”
In Kelly’s news-making interview with the Los Angeles Times, he conceded that Trump’s long promised border wall is not really a wall and fingered Jeff Sessions as responsible for the administration’s controversial family separations policy.
