Trevor Noah dinged CNN reporter Jim Acosta while weighing in on Kim Kardashian‘s recent visit to the White House.
On Wednesday, Kardashian met with President Trump in hopes that he would commute the life sentence of 63-year-old Alice Marie Johnson, who has already served over 20 years for a first-time, non-violent drug offense.
Noah began by comparing her and the president, saying they’re “both reality stars,” both are “big on social media,” “Kanye loves both of them,” and that they both believe in “employing everyone in their family no matter how useless they are.”
He then took aim at CNN’s Chief White House Correspondent for trashing Kardashian’s visit when he said the following:
“Forget about the fact that Kim Kardashian is here at the White House today and what planet that is anything resembling normal because it’s not. She shouldn’t be here talking about prison reform. It’s very nice that she is here but that’s not a serious thing to have happen here at the White House.”
“Really? She ‘shouldn’t be here?'” Noah reacted to Acosta. “You think Kim Kardashian brings down Donald Trump’s Oval Office? Is that what you think? What could she do to make him worse than he already is? Like what could she do? If anything, I want her to stay there longer!”
The Daily Show host went on to say that Kim Kardashian can probably teach Trump a thing or two about diplomacy and how he should treat China like Blac Chyna.
